The Clermont Brahman Commercial Female Sale was held today with just on 300 head yarded. A very high-quality line up of females were on offer and sold to a very strong market.
Buyers from Nebo Rockhampton and the local area were in attendance and active. With all classes of females selling to a very solid market.
Michael Borg ‘’Calveston” Clermont took home the best pen of female with a pen of Grey Brahman weaner heifers which made $860 which weighed 261kgs.
Michael also won the PTIC Cow Class, they made $1630. The PTIC Heifer class was taken out by the Williams Family from Riverside at Moranbah with a pen of grey Brahman Heifers that made $1820.
The yearling heifer class was won by the O’Shannessy Family “Bellvue” Clermont with a pen of red Brahman heifers which made $1080 and they weighed 356kgs.
Other highlights were Ibis Creek Pastoral Co Hlbis Creek” Mt Coolon sold a run of EU Grey Brahman heifers to avg $1080 for 295kgs.
The 70 Riverside PTIC Heifers topped at $2110 to average $1850 and claimed Reserve Champion Pen.
