Byrne Brahmans is located in Cooran, near Pomona on the
Sunshine Coast, Qld.
It was founded with the purchase of one cow, Tartrus Miss Rojo, which
Tartrus Stud had donated to Spring Valley.
Early experiences with Brahmans go back to 1981/82 when we lived and
taught in Marlborough and visited some great studs.
We have accumulated some females with beautiful temperaments. The
progeny that have been sold recently have really enhanced our reputation
for breeding quiet cattle.
Our previous sire, Fairy Springs Fitzgerald, was an exceptional bull, particularly
when 'seen in the flesh'. Always in amazing condition, he has a big
broad muzzle, massive rump and a scrotal circumference of 42 cm when he
was only 22 months. He was sold back to Fairy Springs as a stud sire.
