Breeding at Batandra Park is strongly influenced by the requirement to produce quiet, easy doing cattle with good temperament, fertility & structural soundness. Initially quality females were sourced from leading studs & our replacement heifers have been selected on the strong basis of length, bone, muscling, temperament & mothering ability.

Grey poll sires Myrtledale Turban & Myrtledale Santos & Miandally Emblem have been used along with red poll sires Long Acres Paul, Adamac Charlie & Elmo Arizona which has given us a reasonable number of poll bloodlines which compliment our breeder herd.

Our aim is to maintain a line of structurally sound fertile breeders with good udders.
